The CS9000SM Portable Broadband Signal Analyzer and Recorder series provides the widest bandwidth and deepest memory RF/baseband signal analyzers available. The BSA combines broadband RF downconverters, wide bandwidth high dynamic range ADCs and high speed memory with powerful DSP-based signal analysis software. The wideband recording capability of the Explorer makes it simple to find, record, and analyze signals of interest. The DSP software analyzes both real time signal inputs and signals captured into BSA signal memory. Digital acquisition and processing achieve the highest fidelity, accuracy and repeatability. Signals recorded into memory can be saved to onboard storage or transferred over network. Recorded signals can be imported into Aeroflex's Broadband Signal Generators and played back.
Applications include :
The multi-threaded system application software allows signal acquisition with simultaneous analysis of signals, providing tight correlation of time, frequency and modulation measurements on the same signal space.

The Aeroflex BSA series of instruments incorporates powerful and flexible data analysis and visualization tools for simultaneous plotting of the signal in frequency, time and modulation domains. Measurement and analysis software packages include digital spectrum analysis, channelized signal power and ACPR, digital demodulation, radar pulse parameters and satellite downlink parameterization.
The Scanning Spectrum Analyzer (SSA) is an application patterned after a traditional scanning spectrum analyzer. The SSA provides basic controls to perform frequency sweeps of any part or all of the tunable RF range of the system. It provides controls to allow the adjustment of the start and stop frequency, resolution bandwidth and reference level. The SSA also provides a spectrogram display to illustrate how the received spectrum varies over time
The multi-threaded design of the analysis software allows simultaneous analysis of signals with multiple analysis functions, providing tight correlation of time, frequency and modulation measurements on the same signal space. Parameters can be plotted on strip charts, analyzed in real time and saved to disk.
